MEANINGS of CANDLES
 
    Different colour candles have different uses. Candles are used for many different things, including spells elements at the quarter just to name a few.
When purchasing your candle it's best to have the colour go right through not just the outta layer and also don't blow your candle out but rather let it burn out it's self or you may end up bringing the wrong type of energies into your spell. Never use a candle that has been used for something else or has been lit before. If you do need to blow the candle out because the spell tells you to either use a snuffer or pinch then out with your fingers, as you don't want to blow away the magic.

I prefer to make my own candles as I honestly feel that being touched by other people can give the candle negative energies, I don't know however if thats correct, that is just one of my things, everyday candles are ok to buy but I perfer to make my own when casting spells.

WHITE:  White is a balance of all colours; Spritiual Enlightenment, Cleansings, Clairvoiance, Healing and may be a substitute for any other colour and can be as protective as black.

YELLOW: Activity, Creativity, Unity; brings power of concentration and imagination to a ritual also a good colour for communication.

ORANGE: Attraction, Stimulation, Control, Personal Strength, authority, luck, ambition, property deals.

GOLD: A colour that is beneficial in rituals intended to bring fast luck or money, or in rituals needing solar energy. Promotes Strength, Charisma, Charm, Confidence, Understanding.

PINK: Promotes Emotional Love, Relationships, Romance, Friendships, Good-Will; a colour used in rituals to draw affection, a colour of femininity, honour and morality.

PEACH: Gentle strength and Joy.

RED: Red represents many things, and is often used in rituals to increase magnetisim. Red is Invigorating, connected to blood, sex, birth and death. It is also linked to passion, fertility, physical energy, survival, strength, courage and enthusiasm.

MAGENTA: Energises rituals where immediate action and high level of power or spiritual healing is needed quickly.  Quick Changes, Exorcism, Spiritual Healing.

PURPLE: This is a highly spiritual colour, connected to Mysticism, Inspiration, Spirituality, Wisdom, Purification, Ambition, House Protection, Self Assurance, Hidden Knowledge, Success, Peace and Power. Used in meditation and for aiding higher psychic powers and sensitivity.

LAVENDER: Intuition, Dignity and Spiritual Shields

COPPER: Financial goals, Business, Career Strategy and Professional Growth.

BROWN:  Earthly, balanced colour, for rituals of material increase, eliminates indecisiveness, improves powers of concentration, study, telepathy, increases financial success, locates objects that have been lost.

INDIGO:  Colour of intertia, stops situations or people, use in rituals that require a deep meditational state.

ROYAL BLUE:  Promates laughter and joviality, colour or loyalty, use whenever an influence needs to be increased.

LIGHT BLUE: Spiritual colour, helpful in devotional or inspirational meditations, brings peace and tranquility to the home, employ where a situation must be synthesized.

BLUE: Primary spiritual colour, for rituals to obtain wisdom, harmony, inner light or peace, confers thruth and guidence.

EMERALD GREEN: Attracts love, social delights and fertility

DARK GREEN:  The colour of ambition, greed and jealousy, counteracts these influences in a ritual.

GREEN: Promotes prosperity, fertility, success, stimulates rituals for good luck, money, harmony and rejuvenation.

GREY:  Neutral colour useful when pondering complex issues during meditation, in magic this colour often sparks confusion, it also negates or neutralizes a negative influence.

BLACK: Opens up the deeper levels of the unconscious, use in rituals to induce a deep meditational state or to banish evil or negativity.

SILVER:  Removes negativity and encourages stability, helps develop psychic abilities, attracts influence
