Hello dear friends I want to post the story of how reiki originated and some about reiki itself, but first I wanted to let you guys know that I feel that most of you in Sacred Circle of Light, Spirit Of Storm Wytch, Olivia Star Woman and Darkwytch are very spiritual and we have many reiki masters in here that know most of these, but it will be good information for the ones looking for love and light here.

Pagan posted a lot of good information in Sacred Circle of Light, I, like her, am from the old school, but believe like she does, that the information should belong to the world.

I would like to tell you all first, that I absolutely believe the whole earth population should be initiated in reiki, that every one should be a reiki master or at least learn how to heal themselves and their family, I am saying this first because of what I have to say next.

There is a lot of abuse in reiki, I have a sweet best friend, that took reiki before I met her and it ruined her life!

I am telling you guys this story because there are many quacks in reiki, like there is in almost everything else, but the trouble is, that it hurts people in the thousands! She wanted to take reiki and met a quack that convinced her that he was better than all the other teachers in their town.

He charged her almost ten thousand dollars, granted that was was ten years ago and now people have more knowledge about Reiki, but she had to borrow the money by doing a second mortgaged on her house, because she wanted to be a good healer and ended up loosing the house. He did the same thing to many and then left town, not until then, did they find out that he was only a first degree Reiki practitioner, he had forged all the diplomas, that he displayed in his office! Anyway my friend and her husband could not keep up the extra payments on their morgaged and ended up loosing the house and getting a divorse.

I know that that was a long time ago, but it is still happening even now in different ways, Now they are charging less money, so they do not take them as bad but I am telling you their story, in case your loved ones or family members decides to take reiki, you guys can help them, not to be taken for money or their peace of mind. In this case this guy that had diplomas too, charge many people in a town, $500 for an attunement for first degree.The whole town was wondering why none of them felt any different after they got their attunements, they were wondering after they exchanged healings, why they did not feel the extra energy like they were expecting when they did the healings on each other.

Come to find out that the "master" had bought a video that instantly gives an attunement to the person watching it and they can go out and give attunements to other people and charge them for it!

I thought that it was only in Las Vegas, people charging to much money for Reiki healings, but even small towns are doing it now. They charge from $85 to $100 dollars an hour to give a healing.Although I do not charge, I believe people have to do what their hearts tell them. But charging so much money in my opinion is absurd!

I still feel that Reiki is the best tool to have when you want to start helping people with healings. It is just that I hate to see so many people hurting, because of the abuse, and want people to have better choices.  Because healing is so close to my heart, I want it to be just as good for every man, woman and child that wants to heal people, their world and the universe!
